There is nothing quite like the effect of a fire. It creates a wonderful
feeling of comfort and cosiness with the added dimensions of a warm glow that it
brings to any room.
The coal effect real flame open type gas fire is the most popular fire on the
market and purchased for their stunning visual flame appearance. As with all
modern gas fires, they have a safety cut off device [FFD] in the event of flame
failure, and an atmospheric sensing device to monitor the oxygen levels in the
room and cut off the gas to the appliance in the event of the flue becoming
blocked or poor room ventilation. These fires have also a variable heat output and come in a variety of trim
colours; the majority of manufacture’s include a high level fire control to save
bending down to light and operate the fire. The majority of this type of fire is
only suitable to be sat on a fireproof hearth, others can be fitted as hole in
the wall fires without a surround. Alternatively, there is the glass fronted
flame effect outset and radiant fires as detailed below. We display a number of
gas fires in our showroom some under working conditions. We offer a supply and
fit service or supply only. [A competent person must fit Gas
appliances ie: a GAS SAFE Registered installer]
